Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giuseppe Madureira kicked off to start the match. Valdemar Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Recife in the 5th minute. Claudinei Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Carlos Eduardo Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Giuseppe Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betão de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Claudinei Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Star. In the 16th minute, Giuseppe Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdemar Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Madureira's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Hoffmann in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinei Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Valdemar Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Giuseppe Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rianopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Rianopolis's Carlos Eduardo Recife nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 41st minute Giuseppe Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Palmeira hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rianopolis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Trevisan in the 45th minute. Felipe Carvalho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Hoffmann was the one to do the kick off. 64 minutes into the game, Nico Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rianopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silver Star the free kick. Nico Queiroz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Betão de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Recife in the 70th minute of play. When Carlos Eduardo Recife came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Rianopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Recife couldn't finish the play. Silver Star's Betão de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giuseppe Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Valdemar Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Rianopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Hoffmann came free, but Claudinei Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo Trancoso lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Rianopolis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Silver Star:s goal. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Silver Star's Fiori Ceresso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claudinei Quirino. The Silver Star players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rianopolis from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
