Leopoldo Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Bayern De Munique's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Fontes came free, but Leopoldo Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayern De Munique's Leopoldo Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Bayern De Munique from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes Águias de Alagoas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Sena. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Águias de Alagoas F.C's goalkeeper João Carlos Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Renato Fontes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Schmidt. Leopoldo Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Águias de Alagoas F.C's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bayern De Munique had won, even though Águias de Alagoas F.C had held more of the ball.
