After having played for 5 minutes, Almir Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern De Munique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Almir Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Michel de Sousa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leopoldo Schmidt. Paulo José Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Salinas Náutico Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Donatello came free, but Gil Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Salinas Náutico Clube's Michel de Sousa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Michel de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Donatello hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern De Munique's goalkeeper Leopoldo Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Severo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel de Sousa in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Schmidt saved Bayern De Munique from getting behind. When Salinas Náutico Clube's Michel de Sousa in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayern De Munique's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Bayern De Munique's Válter Maciel got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Donatello got free with Gil Rocha in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel de Sousa in the 70th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Bayern De Munique got a corner. Salinas Náutico Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Almir Peres ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Almir Peres got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gil Rocha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 85th match minute, Salinas Náutico Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Santos to maneuver through the defense. Salinas Náutico Clube's Gil Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Severo in the 88th minute of play. Michel de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern De Munique's zone, Michel de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Schmidt came out of the goal and Michel de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Rossi in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salinas Náutico Clube had played much better football throughout.
