After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Amílton Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elvin Bourgouin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laércio Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in QUEBRA OSSO FC's zone, Amílton Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvin Bourgouin came out of the goal and Amílton Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvin Bourgouin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 15th minute, Anderson Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Laércio Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvin Bourgouin. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience was convinced that Anderson Recife's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Souto was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The supporters of QUEBRA OSSO FC booed when Cianita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes Cianita got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Valladares. After having played for 35 minutes, Emanuel Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QUEBRA OSSO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Velloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Souto having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Recife in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Souto saved Cianita from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Cianita's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Velloso came free, but Severino Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Emanuel Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cianita's Severino Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zézinho de Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 50th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Souto. Cianita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Laércio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Severino Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cianita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Emanuel Velloso scored to the left of an out of position Severino Souto, making the score, 2-1. Emanuel Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Soares in the 94th minute of play forced QUEBRA OSSO FC's goalkeeper Elvin Bourgouin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Souto having to interfere. Valdomiro Valladares's late challenge caught a QUEBRA OSSO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdomiro Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cianita getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Valdomiro Valladares hit a great ball. Anderson Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Cianita players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
