Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Nascimento started the match with the kick off. José Augusto Neto hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Amauri Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Elvin Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Leandronses booed when QUEBRA OSSO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amauri Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leandronses's goalkeeper Duarte Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Duarte Guimarães made a huge save. QUEBRA OSSO FC's Adrianinho Botelho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Duarte Guimarães but with some difficulty. After having played for 17 minutes, Anderson Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QUEBRA OSSO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, QUEBRA OSSO FC's Emanuel Velloso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Anderson Recife, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Duarte Guimarães was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Anderson Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Duarte Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of QUEBRA OSSO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leandronses:s goal. The referee gave Leandronses a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manoel Varela, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of QUEBRA OSSO FC's Elvin Bourgouin. 1-1. Elvin Bourgouin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Hugo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvin Bourgouin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Frank Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderson Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Duarte Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Emanuel Velloso sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anderson Recife stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Anderson Recife came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the QUEBRA OSSO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Recife couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute of the match Zézinho de Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Guimarães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Anderson Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leandronses's Duarte Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. QUEBRA OSSO FC's Emanuel Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Recife in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. QUEBRA OSSO FC's Elvin Bourgouin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Nascimento in the 67th minute of play. Anderson Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Duarte Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in QUEBRA OSSO FC's zone, Hugo Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvin Bourgouin came out of the goal and Hugo Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amauri Secco struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Elvin Bourgouin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leandronses. In the 91st minute, Emanuel Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. QUEBRA OSSO FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Leandronses to leave the ground with a draw.
