In the 10th minute Pedro Augusto dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bacaubas FC defense, Erasmo Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frédson Marques. The Bacaubas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frédson Marques should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Pedro Augusto dos Santos put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of José Maria Ortiz.
