Spectators: 7176 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdomiro Couto started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Roncador's Iuri Rossi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Valdomiro Couto came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Vasco Net.com fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Couto couldn't finish the play. Adhemar Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luiz Guilherme de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Augusto Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vasco Net.com getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Prado hit a great ball. Luís Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Augusto Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mateus Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Mateus Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Roncador defense, Valdomiro Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Augusto Medeiros. The Roncador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Augusto Medeiros should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Ceresso in the 36th minute of play forced Vasco Net.com's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vasco Net.com's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Caco Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Adhemar Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Guilherme de Andrade. Vasco Net.com's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adhemar Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Ceresso made a kick off. Roncador's José Augusto Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Couto in the 56th minute of play. Mateus Barral came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Augusto Medeiros could save by the left post. Mateus Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdomiro Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. José Augusto Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme de Andrade having to interfere. If Adhemar Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Vasco Net.com was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adhemar Miranda in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adhemar Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme de Andrade having to interfere. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roncador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erivaldo Pinheiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Vasco Net.com's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Vasco Net.com's Tales Leite getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Mateus Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdomiro Couto struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. José Augusto Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco Net.com. 88 minutes into the match, Roncador's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Couto came free, but José Augusto Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Medeiros having to interfere. When Mateus Barral came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Vasco Net.com fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Vasco Net.com booed when Roncador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Valdomiro Couto took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for José Augusto Medeiros to make any attempt to save it. Vasco Net.com's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
