When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Adhemar Miranda sped through Paulo Afonso City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dráuzio Tróia. With a little luck, Roncador's José Augusto Medeiros got control of the ball when Wanderson Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Ceresso in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcinho Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Paulo Afonso City booed when Roncador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
