Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafael Martins took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Urbano in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Rafael Martins rounded Agronomia FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Bacaubas FC's Pedro Augusto dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Nestor Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Frédson Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agronomia FC. When Rafael Martins came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bacaubas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Martins couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Agronomia FC's Victor Saldanha got a free kick in the 26th minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hudson de Mendonça. If Pedro Augusto dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Arnaldo de Carvalho made a huge save. In the 46th minute of the match Rogério Carioca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo de Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Martins in the 54th minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Bacaubas FC's Pedro Augusto dos Santos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Rafael Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bacaubas FC and the Agronomia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Rafael Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Pedro Augusto dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo de Carvalho having to interfere. If Pedro Augusto dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Bacaubas FC were the better team. Bacaubas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
