Benta's Zé Paulo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Joanesia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Paranaense came free, but Natã Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Gláuber Barbosa in the 32nd minute really tested Josué de Lima's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Benta getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Durval de Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natã Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Joanesia AD got a freekick which was hit by Durval de Almeida. Benta's Cássio Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 minutes of play, Benta's Cássio Paranaense made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natã Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaká Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Joanesia AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Benta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
