Ibirucucu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Murilo de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Lopez took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durvalino Pirani. Durvalino Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Amauri Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Sabóia in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Magno Pereira hit a great ball. The supporters of Ibirucucu booed when GD Atlântico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Ibirucucu's Gabriel Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durvalino Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

Durvalino Pirani made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Murilo de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, GD Atlântico's Durvalino Pirani got control of the ball when Murilo de Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durvalino Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Lopez's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Lopez during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in GD Atlântico's zone, Murilo de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durvalino Pirani came out of the goal and Murilo de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ibirucucu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
