Atletico Pernabucano's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Munhoz came free, but Hernani Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Pernabucano's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Formos FC's Cipriano Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Munhoz in the 59th minute of play forced C. Atletico Pernabucano's goalkeeper Hernani Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Samuel Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. Atletico Pernabucano's Hernani Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cipriano Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Formos FC's Samuel Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 99 minutes into the match, Cipriano Rosado notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of C. Atletico Pernabucano's Hernani Veiga. Hernani Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Formos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
