Nico Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rui Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claros SC's Nico Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Ramos in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka booed when Claros SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka's Doni Cabral tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Claros SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gernando das Neves hit a great ball. Nico Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Nico Ramos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Araújo. The goal made the score 2-0. Nico Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rui Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claros SC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Antunes to make the kick off. Claros SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka the free kick.
