Spectators: 7055 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júlio Torres took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Alberto Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Tavares in the 6th minute of play forced Sarare's goalkeeper Giovani Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovani Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Prado in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Cido Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute André Luís Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sílvio Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 21 minutes, Cido Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka's Álvaro Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Arruda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Júlio Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarare's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luiz Eduardo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natanael Messias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Araújo having to make a save. After 45 minutes, Dalmo Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka and the Sarare players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sarare booed when C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Sarare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Penha to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when André Luís Antunes made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sarare's goalkeeper Giovani Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmo Tavares. Rui Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Giovani Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Antunes in the 65th minute of play. If André Luís Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Giovani Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Vale got free with Giovani Arruda in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Júlio Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarare's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Júlio Torres came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sarare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Torres couldn't finish the play. The C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.F.J Dimitr Siekerka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
