Gustavo Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Cardoso having to make a save. In the 9th match minute, PingaBall F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Yan Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when PingaBall F.C's Kléber Coelho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Otávio Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rafael Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, PingaBall F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Queiroz came free, but Rafael Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Kauan Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Cardoso having to make a save. Ricardo Neves hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Divinopolis getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marcelinho Abreu hit a great ball. When Jonas Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the PingaBall F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. The referee showed Frederico de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PingaBall F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Frederico de Almeida hit a great ball. Divinopolis's Oséas Leme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PingaBall F.C. PingaBall F.C's Rafael Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Trancoso in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Otávio Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Cardoso. PingaBall F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Otávio Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divinopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, PingaBall F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Barreto came free, but Rafael Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doni Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doni Urbano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jonas Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tadeu Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Queiroz in the 63rd minute of play forced PingaBall F.C's goalkeeper Rafael Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonas Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Frederico de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséas Leme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Divinopolis's Otávio Trancoso in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PingaBall F.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Otávio Trancoso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Cardoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute, Divinopolis's Otávio Trancoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. A collision led to PingaBall F.C getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cléber Fernandez hit a great ball. After 89 minutes, Gonçalo Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PingaBall F.C and the Divinopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonçalo Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kléber Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tadeu Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Divinopolis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Divinopolis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
