Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edson Araújo made the kick off which started today's match. Edson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus de Alcântara having to interfere. Mateus de Alcântara stood somewhat misplaced when Edson Araújo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Guilherme Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto de Andrade in the 27th minute of play. Guilherme Aparecido came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Munduri's Aloísio Novaes. But to his dismay, Aloísio Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Pedro Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Elano da Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guilherme Aparecido. Gentio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aloísio Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Guilherme Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Munduri's Guilherme Aparecido threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aloísio Novaes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Humberto de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Munduri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edson Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Victor Leite came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gentio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Leite couldn't finish the play.
