The PingaBall F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Cardoso should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Quintal in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Cardoso saved PingaBall F.C from getting behind. Erik Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Cardoso having to interfere. Rafael Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Guilherme Quintal's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Gonçalo Meira got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Murillo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in PingaBall F.C's zone, Murillo Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Cardoso came out of the goal and Murillo Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Murillo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off.
