In the 28th minute Aloísio Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when João Augusto de Souza made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Munduri. 74 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Anselmo Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto de Andrade. After a defensive mix-up in Munduri's zone, Guto Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus de Alcântara came out of the goal and Guto Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Paraibano was a little too slow when Aloísio Novaes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Corinthians Paulista's zone, Humberto de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Paraibano came out of the goal and Humberto de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateus de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto de Souza in the 93rd minute of play. Humberto de Andrade in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Paraibano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rui Abraão hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Humberto de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
