After a rather tough play, PingaBall F.C's Gonçalo Meira got a free kick in the 16th minute. Samuel Cardoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Cardoso. PingaBall F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pacorro Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateus Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rafael Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jano Soares to make the kick off. Rafael Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Caetano Senna sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Velloso in the 60th minute of play forced PingaBall F.C's goalkeeper Rafael Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Kléber Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PingaBall F.C and the Flamengo MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Jano Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Jonas Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PingaBall F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jano Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jano Soares in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flamengo MZC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing PingaBall F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
