Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1040, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dino Fernandes kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Marquez. Val Hallar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Eduardo Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ciro Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. London do Sertão's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Dino Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Val Hallar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in London do Sertão's zone, Edmundo Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Peixoto came out of the goal and Edmundo Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Bezerra in the 14th minute of play forced London do Sertão's goalkeeper Guga Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Val Hallar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Silva hit a great ball. Fernandão da Mata struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wilson Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for London do Sertão. Dino Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guga Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Fontes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Carlos Eduardo Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Hortêncio da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. London do Sertão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Val Hallar the free kick. The supporters of Val Hallar booed when London do Sertão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Fernandes took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga Peixoto. Guga Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. London do Sertão's Guga Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Fernandes in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Edmundo Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Guga Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Dalmo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Peixoto came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Val Hallar's Edmundo Bezerra. But to his dismay, Edmundo Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 47 played minutes Val Hallar got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Rosado. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Ciro Motta made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, London do Sertão's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Fernandes came free, but Guga Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. João Francisco Paranaense's late challenge caught a Val Hallar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of London do Sertão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Val Hallar:s goal. During the 60th minute of the match João Francisco Paranaense completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave João Francisco Paranaense a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 61 played minutes London do Sertão got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Paranaense. Guga Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Fernandes in the 65th minute of play forced London do Sertão's goalkeeper Guga Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. London do Sertão's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Carlos Alberto Silva scored to the left of an out of position Guga Peixoto, making the score, 1-5. Fabrício Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Guga Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabrício Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard, long distance shot from Luciano Matos flew over the goal. Dalmo Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wilson Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Silva struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Guga Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Val Hallar. In the 85th minute, Edmundo Bezerra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guga Peixoto. The goal made the score 1-7. Guga Peixoto came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Val Hallar's Carlos Alberto Silva. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. In the 95th minute, Val Hallar's Fabrício Fontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guga Peixoto. Guga Peixoto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Dino Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
