With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Matos in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Quirino saved Curralzinho from getting behind. Manuel Quirino was a little too slow when Dino Fernandes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Fabrício Fontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Manuel Quirino however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Curralzinho's Manuel Quirino got control of the ball when Fabrício Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute.
