Concepción FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandrinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe de Almeida in the 17th minute of play. Giuseppe de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Teixeira having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Bittencourt during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Duarte Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sandrinho Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Chaves in the 23rd minute of play. Sandrinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Andrézinho de Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SER Renascença's protests and gave Andrézinho de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SER Renascença getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Andrézinho de Amorim hit a great ball. The supporters of Concepción FC booed when SER Renascença was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sandrinho Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of SER Renascença booed when Concepción FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Giuseppe de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Cauã de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SER Renascença's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Giuseppe de Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Sandrinho Teixeira, making the score, 0-2. After 71 played minutes SER Renascença got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Miranda. 72 minutes into the match, SER Renascença's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe de Almeida came free, but Sandrinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Andrade hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Giuseppe de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SER Renascença's Sandrinho Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SER Renascença's zone, Giuseppe de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Teixeira came out of the goal and Giuseppe de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sandrinho Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Giuseppe de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe de Almeida scored 0-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandrinho Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giuseppe de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Sandrinho Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción FC. In the 93rd play minute Afonsinho de Castro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sandrinho Teixeira. 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Concepción FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
