Manuel Quirino made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Afonsinho de Castro sent off a good shot on target. When Diego Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Concepción FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Chaves couldn't finish the play. Concepción FC's Diego Chaves quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luizão Berger, made in the 27th minute of the game. When Giuseppe de Almeida got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Manuel Quirino was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Manuel Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 48 minutes into the match, Curralzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Chaves came free, but Manuel Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuseppe de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Afonsinho de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonsinho de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Curralzinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Peres to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Giuseppe de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Quirino. Curralzinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 67 minutes into the game, Giuseppe de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Manuel Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Curralzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe de Almeida came free, but Manuel Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Chaves's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Diego Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Quirino. Curralzinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Manuel Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe de Almeida in the 93rd minute of play forced Curralzinho's goalkeeper Manuel Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concepción FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
