The Real Clube Celta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Barros should have stopped the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Val Hallar's Dino Fernandes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Dino Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Barros was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Dino Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Barros having to interfere. Val Hallar's Wilson Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Guedes in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Fabrício Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Barros. Fabrício Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Val Hallar's Carlos Alberto Silva got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Wilson Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fabrício Fontes struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. José Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Val Hallar. In the 70th minute, Real Clube Celta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabrício Fontes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 72 minutes, Carlos Alberto Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Val Hallar and the Real Clube Celta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Alberto Silva struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. José Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Val Hallar. When Val Hallar's Edmundo Bezerra in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Bezerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Barros was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Val Hallar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Clube Celta.
