Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Guilherme Negri kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Emparedado defense, Dalmo Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcisio Vargas. The Emparedado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcisio Vargas should have stopped the shot. Tarcisio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Urbano in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Emparedado's Narciso Bezerra got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tarcisio Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tarcisio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio da Fonseca in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Vianna in the 33rd minute of play forced Emparedado's goalkeeper Tarcisio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Guilherme Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Guga Peixoto made a huge save. Júnior Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Peixoto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in London do Sertão's zone, Carlos Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Peixoto came out of the goal and Carlos Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luís Guilherme Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Motta to make the kick off. Hortêncio da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tarcisio Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Urbano in the 59th minute of the match. Hortêncio da Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Tarcisio Vargas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emparedado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Carlos Eduardo Vianna scored to the left of an out of position Tarcisio Vargas, making the score, 2-2. With a little luck, Emparedado's Tarcisio Vargas got control of the ball when Hortêncio da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Carlos Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Emparedado's zone, Dalmo Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Vargas came out of the goal and Dalmo Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hortêncio da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Fernandão da Mata from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Tarcisio Vargas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hortêncio da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Vargas made a huge save. André Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, London do Sertão's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Negri came free, but Guga Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guilherme Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Guga Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Peixoto having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Emparedado's Luís Guilherme Negri made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto de Medeiros hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Koehler in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernandão da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
