SER Renascença's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Val Hallar the free kick. A collision led to SER Renascença getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cauã de Medeiros hit a great ball. Carlos Alberto Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Sandrinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes SER Renascença got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho de Amorim. Val Hallar's Edmundo Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandrinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Fontes in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Edmundo Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Teixeira. SER Renascença's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Edmundo Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Val Hallar's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulão Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulão Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulão Miranda hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Dino Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Val Hallar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Val Hallar fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Val Hallar's Fabrício Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sandrinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Bezerra in the 45th minute of play forced SER Renascença's goalkeeper Sandrinho Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Teixeira came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Val Hallar's Fabrício Fontes. But to his dismay, Fabrício Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The SER Renascença players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Val Hallar were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SER Renascença's zone, Dino Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Teixeira came out of the goal and Dino Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Val Hallar got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Silva. 61 minutes into the game, Val Hallar's Dino Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dino Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cauã de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Dino Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SER Renascença's Sandrinho Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandrinho Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Val Hallar. The crowd rose to their feet as Val Hallar's Edmundo Bezerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandrinho Teixeira. That made the score 0-6 after 81 minutes of play. Carlos Alberto Silva took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandrinho Teixeira. Sandrinho Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. José Maria Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sandrinho Teixeira made a huge save. Sandrinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, SER Renascença was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Miranda to maneuver through the defense. When Luciano Matos fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Val Hallar's protests and gave Luciano Matos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Val Hallar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Matos to maneuver through the defense. Val Hallar's Fabinho de Moraes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sandrinho Teixeira but with some difficulty. Dino Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When Val Hallar's Fabrício Fontes, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Val Hallar.
