Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dário Baptista kicked off to start the match. Emparedado's Tarcisio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Meira in the 7th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gilvan Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Koehler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilvan Silva having to make a save. Carlos Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Dário Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tarcisio Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Luís Guilherme Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emparedado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Luís Guilherme Negri notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palestra de Tomini's Gilvan Silva. Gilvan Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Ismael Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarcisio Vargas. Emparedado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 39th minute, Luís Guilherme Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 46 minutes into the game, one of Emparedado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Palestra de Tomini a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gildo Quintal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Emparedado's Tarcisio Vargas. 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Koehler to make the kick off. Pedro Luís Meira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tarcisio Vargas came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Luís Meira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Carlos Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tarcisio Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Carlos Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gilvan Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Koehler struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gilvan Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emparedado. In the 68th minute, Pedro Luís Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dário Baptista took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Vargas. Tarcisio Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When José Vítor Lara came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Palestra de Tomini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Vítor Lara couldn't finish the play. Carlos Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palestra de Tomini's goalkeeper Gilvan Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Emparedado's Carlos Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilvan Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Carlos Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Vargas was a little too slow when Dário Baptista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 3-5. In the 100th minute Dário Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
