Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcinho Mazza started the match with the kick off. Adriano Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mr. Olimpia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Adriano Palmeira hit a great ball. Miguel Favoretto, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 5th minute, Ivo Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes, Danilo Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lenzi FC and the Mr. Olimpia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Mr. Olimpia's Nilmar Saraiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cafu Custódio. Cafu Custódio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Eliseu Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wellington Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Custódio having to interfere. Wellington Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cafu Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho Mazza went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eliseu Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mr. Olimpia's Adriano Palmeira got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Lenzi FC's Dadá Freire in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mr. Olimpia's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Lenzi FC's Guilherme de Medeiros got a free kick in the 45th minute. The long shot by Ivo Braga in the 46th minute really tested Cafu Custódio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilmar Saraiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Aníbal Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eliseu Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nilmar Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cafu Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Dadá Freire reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliseu Ribeiro. The goal made the score 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Saraiva in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 played minutes Lenzi FC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Sampaio. Dadá Freire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Eliseu Ribeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Dadá Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Dadá Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dadá Freire came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliseu Ribeiro could save by the left post.
