Donato Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Celsinho de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Albuquerque having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Gonçalo Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Donato Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jesters Sport Club. 26 minutes into the game, Hugo Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amapora EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jesters Sport Club the free kick. In the 26th minute, Hugo Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Mandrak hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Celsinho de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Albuquerque having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Mendonça got free with Donato Albuquerque in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fábio Mendonça took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Albuquerque. Donato Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexsandro Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Durvalino Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvaldo Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Vargas having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Alexsandro Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Edvaldo Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amapora EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Alexsandro Moreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Durvalino Vargas. The goal made the score 2-2. 81 minutes into the game, Fábio Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Donato Albuquerque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amapora EC's Donato Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Mendonça in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Edvaldo Seco fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Alexsandro Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesters Sport Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
