In the 6th minute Charles Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Amapora EC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcelo Dante hit a great ball. If Alexsandro Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jaceaba booed when Amapora EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dário Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Albuquerque having to make a save. In the 26th minute of the match Jaceaba got a corner. Amapora EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Chaves ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the game, Wilton Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaceaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amapora EC the free kick. Wilton Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Edvaldo Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alexsandro Moreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enio Maia came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexsandro Moreira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Amapora EC's Hugo Simão got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dário Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Jaceaba's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Seco came free, but Enio Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Moreira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jaceaba's Enio Maia. Enio Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Amapora EC's zone, Charles Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Albuquerque came out of the goal and Charles Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amapora EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaceaba the free kick. In the 70th minute, Gonçalo Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaceaba's Charles Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jaceaba's Dário Toledo in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amapora EC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Amapora EC's zone, Charles Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Albuquerque came out of the goal and Charles Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Toledo in the 78th minute of play forced Amapora EC's goalkeeper Donato Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Donato Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enio Maia. Jaceaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvaldo Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Charles Vianna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Donato Albuquerque made a huge save. Donato Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Toledo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Donato Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaceaba. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Amapora EC had won after a very even match.
