Luiz Paulo Pernambucano's late challenge caught a BRUSQUE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paulo Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. Durvalino de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durvalino de Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino de Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Palmeira was the one to do the kick off. Filipe Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Ediberto Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Filipe Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRUSQUE FC. After 58 played minutes Bonsucesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Pontes. 59 minutes into the match, Bonsucesso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Palmeira came free, but Filipe Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Passos in the 64th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Bonsucesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio de Lima. Durvalino de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Filipe Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dráuzio Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durvalino de Queiroz got free with Filipe Varela in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 82 minutes, Guilherme Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonsucesso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 played minutes BRUSQUE FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Fantini. After recieving a nice pass, Bonsucesso FC's Silvério Vinhas tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Luís Gustavo Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bonsucesso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Marquez couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, BRUSQUE FC's Dráuzio Palmeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3.
