Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Márcio Gaúcho started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Fim de Mundo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Baiano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Olavo Mello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The attack was good, but when Edgar Almeida in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 27th minute, Edgar Almeida fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Severino Moura, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Mineiro got free with Severino Moura in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute of the match, Olavo Mello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severino Moura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Severino Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Edgar Almeida hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Olavo Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Moura having to interfere. When Edgar Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Irahy AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Almeida couldn't finish the play. Olavo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Irahy AD's Edgar Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Moura having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Olavo Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irahy AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Olavo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes Fim de Mundo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gil Tróia. Edgar Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fim de Mundo F.C.'s goalkeeper Severino Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Moura having to interfere. Márcio Gaúcho might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cebrian Vello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Gaúcho ran back to his position shaking his head. Fim de Mundo F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Irahy AD had controlled the match.
