Cipriano Baptista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Julio Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válter Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válter Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Nerv got a freekick which was hit by Válter Antunes. If Julio Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dorian Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Cabo Branco FC's Cipriano Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafinha Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Baptista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorian Vaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Baptista slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 56th minute. Cabo Branco FC's Marcelinho Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 65 in the game by Julio Soin from a close distance when the talented Dorian Vaz managed to make a qualified save. Nerv's players were relieved. Julio Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dorian Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Julio Soin sped through Nerv's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorian Vaz. The supporters of Cabo Branco FC booed when Nerv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Nerv's Dorian Vaz got control of the ball when Julio Soin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Julio Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabo Branco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Bocșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Vaz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Julio Soin sped through Nerv's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorian Vaz. Rafinha Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Julio Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Cabo Branco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nerv.
