Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Julio Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabo Branco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 3 minutes in the game, Julio Soin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without André Luís Prado having to interfere. Paul Bocșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Prado having to interfere. When Julio Soin came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cabo Branco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Soin couldn't finish the play. After 10 played minutes Macarani got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Neves. In the 11th match minute, Macarani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Julio Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Prado having to interfere. Julio Soins short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got André Luís Prado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Cabo Branco FC's Paul Bocșan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luís Prado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Cabo Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Soin to maneuver through the defense. Julio Soin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but André Luís Prado made a huge save. Cipriano Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. André Luís Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Juninho Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelinho Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Macarani's Juninho Nascimento got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Soin to make the kick off. When Felipe Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabo Branco FC's protests and gave Felipe Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cabo Branco FC's Felipe Queirós got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Julio Soin might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Luís Prado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Soin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Julio Soin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cabo Branco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Soin couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Macarani got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Nascimento. Cabo Branco FC's Fernando Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cabo Branco FC from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luís Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Macarani booed when Cabo Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Julio Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. André Luís Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Passos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Luís Prado. Macarani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelinho Passos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. André Luís Prado came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin. But to his dismay, Julio Soin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Fernando Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Sousa in the 81st minute of play. The Cabo Branco FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Cabo Branco FC's Julio Soin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cabo Branco FC had played much better football throughout.
