All-Zhaymmer S.C's Wágner Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Catarinense in the 17th minute of play. Gilmar Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Tinoco made a huge save. Pedro Luís Tinoco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilmar Leal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 24th minute Jerônimo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Vides in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willian Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, Jókei CE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jókei CE's zone, Gilmar Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Tinoco came out of the goal and Gilmar Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Bruno Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. All-Zhaymmer S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Jókei CE's Pedro Luís Tinoco got control of the ball when Gilmar Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Willian Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Jókei CE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Koehler couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Décio Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Catarinense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
