Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leopoldo Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leopoldo Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ruy Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cambaras's Ronaldo Donatello got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Cambaras got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Vander. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fiori Guedes sped through Uruana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armandinho Pinho. Edvaldo Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pedro Simões's late challenge caught a Cambaras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pedro Simões helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, José Pedro Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armandinho Pinho made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edvaldo Vander sent off a good shot on target. Fausto da Costa's late challenge caught a Cambaras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto da Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Ruy Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Moura in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cambaras's Luís Gustavo Zanette got a free kick in the 34th minute. Fiori Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruana! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fiori Guedes was the one to do the kick off. If Edvaldo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Mário Capixaba fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ruy Prestes, passed just outside the right post. After 64 minutes of play, Cambaras's Edvaldo Vander made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armandinho Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Edvaldo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Armandinho Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Vander in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Vander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho Pinho. Uruana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvaldo Vander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Armandinho Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Fiori Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cambaras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
