A collision led to Ladario getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Téo Paraibano hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Tamer Açıker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ladario's Reinaldo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Reinaldo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tamer Açıker's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The supporters of Maruai booed when Ladario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Léo Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Ferreira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tamer Açıker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.
