In the 5th of the match, Aloísio de Sena tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Armandinho Travassos got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 6th minute, Otávio Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armandinho Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio de Sena in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Gomes in the 11th minute of play forced Quixelo AD's goalkeeper Ronaldo da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Quixelo AD's Aloísio de Sena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armandinho Travassos. Armandinho Travassos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Quixelo AD's Luciano Queiroz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Arthur Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronaldo da Rocha. Quixelo AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luciano Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luciano Queiroz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Francisco Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armandinho Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo da Rocha came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Maruai's Tamer Açıker. But to his dismay, Tamer Açıker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 36 minutes, Tamer Açıker made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Quixelo AD's Ronaldo da Rocha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Maruai's Tamer Açıker in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quixelo AD's goalie prevented a goal. Ronaldo da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamer Açıker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Maruai's Tamer Açıker made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tamer Açıker to make the kick off. A collision led to Maruai getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Váldson Tande hit a great ball. Váldson Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ronaldo da Rocha made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Tamer Açıker made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldo da Rocha. Quixelo AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Paulo Renato Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Renato Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Tamer Açıker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronaldo da Rocha. The goal made the score 1-5. The Quixelo AD fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Quixelo AD's Nico Gaspar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Maruai's Tamer Açıker in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quixelo AD's goalie prevented a goal. Ronaldo da Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. Luciano Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Tamer Açıker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quixelo AD's Ronaldo da Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nico Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quixelo AD's Nico Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Quixelo AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maruai were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
