Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Santelmo FC's Chico Motta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santelmo FC's Enio Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Açıker in the 2nd minute of play. Tamer Açıker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Enio Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enio Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Tande in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Santelmo FC's Enio Montenegro got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santelmo FC's Enio Motta got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Maruai got a corner. Santelmo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arthur Gomes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santelmo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arthur Gomes was slow to take the kick. During this time Maruai's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th match minute, Maruai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Tande to maneuver through the defense. Armandinho Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Enio Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Tande in the 35th minute of play. Enio Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Pedro Gomes in the 39th minute.
