Spectators: 7025 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeferson Moura made the kick off which started today's match. Jeferson Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Urbano got free with Vito Carneiro in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 14 minutes on the clock, Wanderson Fontes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ladario! The referee gave Thiagueira FC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Angelo Guimarães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ladario's Reinaldo Ferreira. 0-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Franklin Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ladario's Reinaldo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ladario's zone, Franklin Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Ferreira came out of the goal and Franklin Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léo Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Téo Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léo Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Carneiro having to interfere. When Léo Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ladario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Urbano couldn't finish the play. After the first half Thiagueira FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franklin Cunha to make the kick off. Reinaldo de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Reinaldo Ferreira made a huge save. The supporters of Thiagueira FC booed when Ladario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Angelo Guimarães sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Reinaldo Ferreira threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Angelo Guimarães this time. In the 62nd minute, Téo Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaldo de Brito went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Dieguinho Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiagueira FC's Reinaldo de Brito came free and shot a quick shot against goal 78 minutes in the game, fortunately Reinaldo Ferreira had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 79 minutes into the game, Franklin Cunha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reinaldo Ferreira. Franklin Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When Zé Paulo Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thiagueira FC's protests and gave Zé Paulo Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Thiagueira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Léo Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladario's supporters rose to their feet, but Léo Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, one of Thiagueira FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Thiagueira FC. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Ladario. Dida Domingues stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vito Carneiro. 1-4. When Donato Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ladario's protests and gave Donato Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, one of Ladario:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ladario. The goalkeeper, Reinaldo Ferreira, was totally fooled by Thiagueira FC's Angelo Guimarães, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Chants of Thiagueira FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ladario had held the ball for most of the match.
