Pedro Paulo Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Maroins EC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Maranhense came free, but Romeu Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Maranhense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Dionísio was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the last second Romeu Dionísio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bebeto Maranhense in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 19 played minutes Arrozeira got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Gerber. Maroins EC's Wilton Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bebeto Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Romeu Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arrozeira's Acácio Tande got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Leandro Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leopoldo Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Pernambucano in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Wilton Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leandro Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino de Medeiros in the 57th minute of play forced Maroins EC's goalkeeper Romeu Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Célio Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Romeu Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Maranhense in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Dionísio saved Maroins EC from getting behind. Romeu Dionísio came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrozeira's Bebeto Maranhense. But to his dismay, Bebeto Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, Maroins EC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Maranhense came free, but Romeu Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilton Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leopoldo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Célio Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilton Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Pontes made a huge save. Célio Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Dino de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino de Medeiros in the 88th minute of play forced Maroins EC's goalkeeper Romeu Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Wilton Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 97thth minute of the game Leandro Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrozeira's Leopoldo Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arrozeira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maroins EC for a fine match.
