After 15 played minutes Fastama Top FC got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Goiano. The crowd rose to their feet as André Luiz Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Cardozo. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Luís Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Barros in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Vítor Arruda during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Vítor Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Gabriel Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Fastama Top FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Linhares couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Fastama Top FC's zone, Ezequiel Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Cardozo came out of the goal and Ezequiel Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Barros in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fastama Top FC's zone, André Luiz Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Cardozo came out of the goal and André Luiz Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cléberson Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fastama Top FC's protests and gave Cléberson Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Linhares made a kick off. Ezequiel Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Cardozo having to make a save. André Luiz Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mature's goalkeeper Alexsandro Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Mature got a freekick which was hit by Guto Magalhães. Luís Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Schmidt in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Fastama Top FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cléberson Trancoso hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Ezequiel Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mature's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Mature's André Luiz Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Luís Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Barros in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Mature were awarded a corner. Laerte Medeiros went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mature's corner Laerte Medeiros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Cardozo quite easily take care of the ball. Luís Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Zé Paulo Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fastama Top FC's Luís Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Schmidt in the 86th minute of play. Mature's Alexsandro Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Mature from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Cláudio Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Alexsandro Sarmento. Mature's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Gabriel Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fastama Top FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
