Chico Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Chico Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Loureiro succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. After 32 minutes, Adelino Loureiro made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Aporema's Chico Luz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chico Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Melo in the 35th minute of the match. Chico Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adelino Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Adelino Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Chico Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aporema defense, Adelino Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Luz. The Aporema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Luz should have stopped the shot. If Zé Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Chico Luz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Adelino Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. Charles Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Gonçalves in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Adelino Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Chico Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Loureiro got free with Chico Luz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adelino Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aporema's José Augusto Reis pulled a muscle in his leg after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Nascimento during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 71 minutes into the game, one of Botafogo BA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aporema's Chico Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Aporema from getting a goal against them. Angelo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Marinho having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Leite couldn't finish the play.
