Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Luiz Barros kicked off to start the match. After 12 played minutes, Mature's Mazinho da Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeu Dionísio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mature reached it. 14 minutes into the game, one of Maroins EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Mature. Laerte Medeiros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romeu Dionísio. 0-2. Wilton Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Alexsandro Sarmento made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Mello in the 21st minute of play forced Mature's goalkeeper Alexsandro Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexsandro Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Wilton Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alexsandro Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maroins EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mature the free kick. The supporters of Mature booed when Maroins EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luiz Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Dionísio having to interfere. Romeu Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Ezequiel Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Mature fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Schmidt couldn't finish the play. After the first half Mature were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Ezequiel Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Maroins EC defense, Ezequiel Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Dionísio. The Maroins EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Dionísio should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Wilton Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes, Wilton Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maroins EC and the Mature players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maroins EC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Wilton Pernambucano hit a great ball. If André Luiz Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Luiz Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luiz Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Romeu Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Flávio Dante was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mature's Alexsandro Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Mello in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Mature got a freekick which was hit by Guto Magalhães. 90 minutes into the match, Mature's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Mello came free, but Alexsandro Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guto Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mature fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Magalhães couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mature walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
