Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Estrias's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Santana came free, but Sandrinho Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Jorginho Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Estrias's Dráusio Vander got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Nelsinho Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandrinho Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Estrias's Ricardo de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidnei Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 16 played minutes Estrias got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Vander. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Estrias:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camel FC:s goal. The referee gave Camel FC a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rubens Neves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estrias's Sandrinho Veloso. 1-2. Alexsandro Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Alexsandro Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandrinho Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Camel FC's Sidnei Tande got control of the ball when Dráusio Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexsandro Azevedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Estrias's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ricardo de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 72nd minute, Dráusio Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
