Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Pires started the match with the kick off. FERTIFLORA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Alexandre Pires scored to the left of an out of position Mateus Zanette, making the score, 1-0. In the 6th minute, Faustão Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Edmundo Aguiar. Ituassu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tadeu Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, FERTIFLORA FC's Faustão Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmundo Aguiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Faustão Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Aguiar was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Furtado in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th match minute, Ituassu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mateus Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Mateus Zanette successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edmundo Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When FERTIFLORA FC's Eugênio Domingues in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ituassu FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mateus Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Sílvio Luiz Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47thth minute of the game Faustão Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituassu FC's Edmundo Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustão Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvério Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edmundo Aguiar. That made the score 1-3 in the 51 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Furtado in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Diguinho Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Raphael Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FERTIFLORA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustão Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Eugênio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edmundo Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Faustão Furtado put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Edmundo Aguiar. Faustão Furtados short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Edmundo Aguiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edmundo Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Faustão Furtado sent off a good shot on target. When Júlio Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ituassu FC's protests and gave Júlio Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. When %teams%'s Faustão Furtado was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-5 just inside the left pole, 79 minutes into the game. Edmundo Aguiar was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Faustão Furtado had several of the Ituassu FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Edmundo Aguiar as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Ituassu FC's zone, Faustão Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Aguiar came out of the goal and Faustão Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Geovânio Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded FERTIFLORA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ituassu FC.
