Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) Jano Paes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Jano Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Filipe Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulas and the Premier Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Paulas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmo Fantini in the 14th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Paulas's Filipe Furlan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dagoberto Maciel's late challenge caught a Premier Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paulas's Dagoberto Maciel got a free kick in the 34th minute. Filipe Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aírton Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Laerte Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Natanael Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Dalmo Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Natanael Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Laerte Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 74 played minutes Paulas got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Almeida. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paulas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gernando Paranaense was slow to take the kick. During this time Premier Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. When Simão Vasconcelos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Natanael Rosado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Natanael Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Paes in the 82nd minute of play. Paulas's Natanael Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Paes in the 83rd minute of play.
