Ariramba
Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Didi da Silva kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Ariramba getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Didi da Silva hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Didi da Silva sped through TEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquim Vianna. 16 minutes into the match, TEC's goalkeeper Joaquim Vianna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi da Silva. Didi da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Didi da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Vianna made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Didi da Silva sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Clemente Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Koehler in the 36th minute of play. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Pernambucano in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of TEC booed when Ariramba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Santos in the 43rd minute of play. Rubinho Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luís Santos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, TEC's goal looked a bit too open when Matías de Toledo came free, but Joaquim Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Pontes having to interfere. Clemente Pernambucano came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rubinho Pontes could save by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, TEC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi da Silva came free, but Joaquim Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi da Silva in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, TEC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi da Silva came free, but Joaquim Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Vianna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Didi da Silva went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. TEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Koehler in the 82nd minute of play. If Clemente Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Pontes made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Clemente Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Salles in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Fabiano Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Clemente Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ariramba had won after a very even match.
