Wiliam Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Poesia F C's Felippe Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiliam Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Poesia F C's Juvenal Bueno got a free kick in the 21st minute. With splendid footwork Jacinto Trevisan arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-2 by the left pole in the game's 24th minute. Ivo Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Trevisan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Matorin was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Rogério Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renato Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Poesia F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Jacinto Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Fabinho Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Base Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rogério Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Base Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
