Ramiro Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eliézer Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Secco in the 9th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Samuca Trancoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BANZAI TIMAO FC and the S.C Aracatuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BANZAI TIMAO FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Samuca Trancoso hit a great ball. In the 19th play minute Ramiro Trigo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eliézer Brodel. 1-1. Acácio Trigo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Eliézer Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C Aracatuba. In the 27th minute Valério da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário de Senna having to interfere. Dário de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The S.C Aracatuba fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when S.C Aracatuba's Valério da Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuca Trancoso to make the kick off. Dário de Senna was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Samuca Trancoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuca Trancoso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The supporters of BANZAI TIMAO FC booed when S.C Aracatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, BANZAI TIMAO FC's Vitório Travassos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eliézer Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério da Cunha in the 68th minute of the match. The long shot by Walmir Pena in the 73rd minute really tested Dário de Senna's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 75 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BANZAI TIMAO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C Aracatuba the free kick. A collision led to BANZAI TIMAO FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ronaldo Lara hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christiano Ceresso during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, S.C Aracatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, S.C Aracatuba's Cafu Pimenta got a free kick in the 79th minute. Valério da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Brodel having to interfere. After 90 played minutes, S.C Aracatuba's Paulo Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliézer Brodel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C Aracatuba reached it. Samuca Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário de Senna having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, S.C Aracatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Trancoso came free, but Dário de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
